Cornice mouldings are used to put the finishing touch to the joint between the wall and ceiling. In addition, they are often used along the edges of decorative surfaces and along the top edge of panelling and wainscots. Cornice mouldings are well-suited for finishing inside corners in general, and they can be used in combination with skirting or decorative mouldings as a means of achieving a more attractive outcome. Moreover, large cornice mouldings are handy in concealing cabling.
The largest cornice mouldings cover even more than 80mm of the wall and ceiling. Our standard range includes two cornice moulding types for 135 degree angle (a.k.a. attic angle) mounting. This particular angle can be executed on almost all other cornice moulding types we stock. In addition, we stock the so-called "full-angle" cornice moulding for special purposes.
The most common wood raw material used in the manufacturing of cornice mouldings is pine wood free of knots, but all other wood species can also be used. We can deliver cornice mouldings painted according to the customer's wishes based on a specific colour code. Some cornice moulding types painted standard white (colour code: NCS S 0502-Y) are available off-the-shelf.
