Cover strips, a.k.a. architraves

Cover strips, a.k.a. architraves, are typically used to cover various joints and gaps, e.g. around doors and windows. Standard dimensions of cover strips are 32-120mm in width and 12-28mm in thickness. Cover strip lengths delivered by us are between 2.2-3m or 3.6m and multiples of these.

Generally, free-of-knots pine wood is the raw material of cover strips, but all other wood species can also be used. We can deliver cover strips painted according to the customer's wishes based on a specific colour code. Certain cover strip types painted standard white (colour code: NCS S 0502-Y) are available off-the-shelf.

Cable grooves can be implemented in almost all of our moulding profiles, but with due consideration for material thickness. Our range of products also includes a profile with the cable groove already executed in it. Some of our decorative mouldings can also be used as cover strips.

Corner pieces can be mounted at the points where cover strips meet the skirting. Corner pieces facilitate mounting of mouldings and the interior of the room is enhanced. In addition, corner pieces enable the connecting of otherwise non-matching mouldings.
